Resolved Question: Choosing a hip hop dance class?

I am planning on taking a hip hop class this year at TMD (Dance Precisions) @ Placentia, CA. I am 19 years old and It's my first time ever taking any type of official dance class, but for all of their beginning class are for ages 7-11. There are intermediate classes for 16+, but I'm pretty fast with catching up and learning new stuff. Which class should I take? Oh, and if i start attending one of the classes this month, would they have already started the class and would it be like me being thrown in the middle of nowhere? * I don't want no answers like "contact the dance studio."
